Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Business Analyst to drive requirement gathering for the product issue management tool and translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders across Product Management, Architecture, Development, QA, and business teams to support fit-gap analysis, UAT and release readiness. Hybrid work in Pune is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent.

Your Tasks –

Drive requirement gathering and analysis for the product issue management tool, identifying group-wide commonalities, brand-specific needs, process gaps, and improvement opportunities. Translate business and functional requirements into user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and maintain end-to-end traceability through testing and release. Collaborate with global stakeholders across Product Management, Architecture, Development, QA, and business teams to support fit-gap analysis, UAT, planning, and release readiness.

To ensure that you will-

• Take a key role in translating product issue management needs into clear, traceable and testable requirements.
• Conduct discovery workshops and document current Tool processes, applications, user journeys, business rules, pain points and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze the existing tool landscape, business processes, usage patterns and requirements across all brands within the Group to identify commonalities, brand-specific needs, gaps and harmonization opportunities.
• Identify common group-wide requirements and justified brand-specific requirements to support a harmonized future solution.
• Elicit, analyze and prioritize business, functional, non-functional, data, access-control and reporting requirements.
• Translate requirements into features, user stories, process flows and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement, PI planning, iteration planning, demonstrations and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Management, process owners, architects, developers, Quality Assurance and Testers across global group companies.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from business need through requirements, acceptance criteria, test evidence and release outcome.
• Support fit-gap analysis, integration clarification, data migration mapping, UAT and release readiness.
• Ensure essential Tool capabilities such as workflows, search, reports, attachments, historical information and role-based visibility are addressed.
• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical engineering, Business or a related field.
• Experience range: 3 to 8 years in Business Analysis, product ownership support, digital product delivery, Process mapping or enterprise application delivery.
• Strong experience in product issue management and end-to-end requirements management, including elicitation, analysis, prioritization, traceability, validation and change control. Strong experience in requirements elicitation, stakeholder workshops, enterprise workflow and issue-management processes, user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience in automotive R&D is preferred.
• Strong skills in issue management and requirements management, including requirement elicitation, analysis, prioritization, documentation, traceability and change management.
• Working knowledge of Agile or SAFe delivery, backlog refinement and Jira or equivalent application lifecycle tools.
• Ability to analyze complex cross-functional processes, identify gaps and convert ambiguity into structured requirements along with backlog refinement, prioritization support and stakeholder facilitation
• Strong written and spoken English, facilitation skills and confidence working with global stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining requirement traceability, decisions, assumptions, dependencies and scope changes.
