Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune invites a skilled QA professional to join the Cabin and Chassis testing team. You will manage software testing, test analysis, and ensure quality across API and integration layers within a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has hands-on testing experience, strong knowledge of Jira and test-management tools, and a proactive approach to automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in test analysis, test-case design, exploratory testing, regression testing and defect reporting.
• Experience with API/integration testing, SQL or data validation and test evidence management.
• Understanding of Agile or SAFe delivery and close collaboration with developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Validate that the Enterprise workflow application/tool development solution meets agreed business requirements and works reliably for end users and connected systems.
• Analyze user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria to identify test conditions, test data, dependencies and risks.
• Design, review and maintain manual and automated test cases for business workflows, roles, search, reporting, attachments and integrations.
• Execute functional, integration, exploratory, regression, migration and relevant non-functional tests.
• Prepare test data and maintain accurate test evidence, execution status and reusable regression suites.
• Log clear and reproducible defects with appropriate evidence; retest fixes and perform regression checks.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, developers, Product Management and user representatives during defect triage and validation.
• Support UAT, release verification, production-readiness checks and timely escalation of quality risks.
• Contribute to test automation implementation and continuous improvement of team testing practices.

Your Tasks –

Software testing, requirements and issue management, test analysis, test case design, requirement traceability, functional/API/integration/regression/migration testing, exploratory testing, defect lifecycle management, test data preparation, SQL and data validation, cross-brand workflow testing, test automation, Jira, test-management tools, Agile/SAFe and AI assisted testing.

To ensure that you will-

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. Strong hands-on experience in test analysis, test-case design, exploratory testing, regression testing and defect reporting. Working knowledge of API/integration testing, SQL or data validation and test evidence management. Experience with Jira and a test-management tool such as Xray, Zephyr, TestIT or an equivalent solution is preferred. Understanding of Agile or SAFe delivery and close collaboration with developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance.

Strong attention to detail, analytical problem solving and written and spoken English.
