Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. invites you to join our Cabin and Chassis team in Pune for an ongoing permanent role.

The position focuses on designing and documenting accessories solutions per customer demand, with emphasis on retro fitment design and cross-functional collaboration across global groups. You will engage with various stakeholders to ensure solutions meet body-building guidelines while aligning with vehicle integration requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in accessories development projects from initiation to completion.
• Knowledge of design for retro fitment solutions.
• Knowledge of packaging studies and proposal offering.
• Ability to adapt existing solutions to vehicles.
• Familiarity with portfolio/variant management.
• Knowledge of local and global commercial vehicle homologation norms.
• Strong knowledge in trucks and their applications.
• Experience in vehicle integration and truck aggregates.
• Design for manufacturing/assembly/service.
• Experience in supplier coordination, drawing reviews, and quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill and CATIA V5 for 3D/2D creation.
• Maintaining change management and BOM creation.
• Creation of mounting instructions.
• Strong collaboration and cross-communication skills.

Your Tasks –

Design and documentation for Accessories solution -Customer demand of market

Design retro fitment solution compliant to Body building technical guideline/special application.

The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas

To ensure that you will-

• Experience in accessories development projects from initiation till completion in terms of requirement collection, development, validation, supplier release, product tryout.
• Knowledge of Design for retro fitment solution
• Knowledge of packaging study/Investigation and proposal offering
• Knowledge of how to adapt existing solution to vehicle
• Knowledge of Portfolio management/variant management
• Knowledge of Local and global commercial vehicle level homologation norms.(UNECE/GB/KMVSS..)
• Strong knowledge in Commercial Vehicles-Truck and its application.
• Experience in Vehicle integration and good knowledge of truck aggregates.
• Knowledge of Design for manufacturing/assembly/service
• Experience in supplier coordination, drawing reviews, and quality assurance.
• Good Hands-on experience in Windchill and CATIA V5 for 3D/2D Creation.
• Proficiency in maintaining change management, Design documentation, BOM creation.
• Good Hands-on experience in mounting instruction creation
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (CFTs).
• Good Cross-Communication skills, presentation skills and Team player.
• Able to work independently.
• Good Hands-on experience on MS Office.
• Flexibility for international travel.
