Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune offers a permanent position in a hybrid work setup.

The role focuses on continuous optimization and automation of reporting, with collaboration across headquarters and business units. You will design management and operational reports using SAP BW, Excel, Access and visualization tools, while leading reporting projects. We seek candidates with strong data analysis skills, excellent English communication, and at least five years in reporting or finance.

Qualifications

• Strong IT affinity and extensive data analysis skills.
• Fluency in English with good communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including Access and macro programming.
• Willingness to learn both reporting tech and business logic.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in reporting or finance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize management and operational reports using SAP BW, Excel, Access, Power Query and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with headquarters and cross-functional teams to manage reporting portfolio and projects.
• Prepare and deliver regular, high-quality reports on time for business units.
• Create interactive dashboards with SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.
• Provide reporting expertise and advise on requirements for business departments.

• Continuous optimization and automation of reporting, further development of reporting tools, and active management of the reporting portfolio
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with headquarters in Germany (Reporting Factory/functional departments)
• Regular preparation of assigned reports, ensuring timely delivery and high quality
• Design and creation of management and operational reports (SAP Business Warehouse, Excel, Access, Power Query, visualization tools, robotics) to support business units
• Providing reporting expertise and consulting for business departments, including assessment of reporting requirements
• Definition, alignment, and development of interactive dashboards using modern visualization tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI)
• Independent management of reporting projects or sub-projects, as well as participation in reporting initiatives

Must have:

• Strong IT affinity and extensive data analysis skills
• Flexibility, initiative, and strong communication skills in English
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Access and macro programming
• Willingness to learn both technical aspects of reporting as well as business logics
• At least 5 years of professional experience in reporting or in the finance environment

Good to have:

• Knowledge of SAP
• German A2-B1 level
• Potential for personal development and strong communication skills
