Job summary

Clevertech PAS Pvt Ltd in Pune invites skilled Field Service Engineers to service projects across Asia, Middle East and beyond. Based in Pune, you will install, commission, and support complex packaging equipment.

You will travel roughly 75% of the time for 1-4 week stints, work with world-leading clients, and be coached to ensure successful startup and customer handover. We seek pro-active, resilient professionals with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Automation & Control, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical & Electronics.
• 2-5 years experience in industrial automation (packaging, automation, and robotics).
• Experience in installing and commissioning packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards in the industry.
• Ability to read layouts and understand system wiring.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel about 75% of the time (1-4 weeks away).

Responsibilities

• Install and commission the system at site.
• Ensure equipment is fully qualified per success criteria.
• Coach customer on best practices and operation.
• Coordinate handover to customer team and be available on call.

We are hiring Field Service Engineers based in Pune for field service jobs across Asia, Middle East and beyond.

Job key deliverables: Install and commission the system, enable a smooth and vertical start-up of the equipment at our facility and Site, making sure the equipment is fully qualified as per agreed success criteria. Coaching the customer on best practices on how to operate the equipment, enabling a smooth handover to customer team and being readily available to support on call.

Candidate Profile

A)Technical Skills:

• has a degree or Diploma in Automation & Control, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical and Electronics.
• has previous experience of 2-5 years with industrial automation (Packaging, Automation, and Robotics).
• Experience in installing and commissioning of packaging equipments,
• Knowledge of Safety Standards for the industry.
• element of physics (mechanical theory (linear speed, rotary speed, speed, space, time, acceleration)
• knowledge read and understand layout of the system.
• knowledge learning, manual work (wiring cabling when needed)
• knowledge of Microsoft office: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT.
• Has good analytical skills and some previous experience for testing and troubleshooting and also for coaching customer to use new equipment
• Had good communication skills both verbally and in written to enable a best-in-class collaboration with the customer.
• Willingness to travel to an average of 75% of hers/his time with periods of 1-4 weeks away from home.
