As payer, Even is an insurance agent, helps people and companies get insurance and as a provider Even has their own in-house doctors who do teleconsultation, provide in person consultations through Even clinics and also have extensive network of Doctors, Diagnostics and Pharmacy to help their members get services closer to their homes.
A growing organisation in the Healthcare — Patient Services & Clinic Operations sector delivering high-quality outpatient and administrative support across clinics and telehealth touchpoints. We prioritise smooth front-office workflows, accurate patient intake, and timely coordination with clinical teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences and operational efficiency.
Primary Job Title: Front Office Executive
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors; manage check‑ins, verify appointments, and ensure accurate documentation at first contact.
- Handle appointment scheduling across phone, in‑person, and online channels; manage cancellations and follow‑ups to optimise daily clinic flow.
- Register and update patient records in EMR/clinic management systems; verify demographics, insurance details, and consent forms.
- Collect co‑payments, issue receipts, perform cash drawer reconciliation, and support basic billing and invoicing tasks.
- Operate multi‑line phone systems: triage calls, route clinical queries, and provide clear appointment information and pre‑visit instructions.
- Coordinate with clinicians and operations teams on room allocation, patient arrivals, and discharge instructions while maintaining data privacy and compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must‑Have
- Proven experience in front desk, reception, or patient‑facing roles in healthcare or service environments.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or clinic management software and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
- Strong telephone etiquette and clear verbal communication in English and at least one local language (e.g., Hindi/regional language).
- Hands‑on cash handling experience and familiarity with basic billing and invoicing processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent and ability to work on‑site with reliable punctuality.
- Understanding of patient data privacy best practices and commitment to confidentiality.
- Preferred
- Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or diagnostic centre environment.
- Multilingual ability (additional regional language) to support diverse patient populations.
- Certification or short training in customer service, reception operations, or medical office administration.
