Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding cargo readiness and timely transportation from factory to loading port.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders for vessel ETA at loading port and plan cargo delivery accordingly.
• Monitor loading operations and prepare/send BL instructions; review drafts and invoices.
• Track vessel ETA at discharge port and support customs clearance with internal teams.
• Coordinate with accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Understand freight forwarding contractual terms and conditions.

Freight Forwarding Executive
Location: Vadodara

Role Overview:
The role involves handling Ocean Import & Export pricing, negotiating freight rates with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and co-loaders, preparing quotations, managing customer RFQs, coordinating shipments with overseas offices, supporting the sales team, and ensuring seamless shipment execution from booking to final delivery.

Preferred Profile:

• Experience in international freight forwarding and ocean logistics.
• Strong knowledge of carrier negotiations, pricing strategies, RFQ management, customer coordination, and shipment planning.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

• Coordinating with suppliers regarding cargo readiness and ensuring timely transportation from the supplier's factory to the loading port.
• Coordinating with freight forwarders for vessel ETA at the loading port, planning cargo delivery accordingly, monitoring loading operations, preparing and sending Bill of Lading (BL) instructions, reviewing draft BLs, processing freight forwarder invoices, and tracking vessel ETA at the discharge port.
• Coordinating with the internal team for customs clearance and obtaining the necessary customs approvals.
• Coordinating with the accounts team to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Understanding freight forwarding contractual terms and conditions.
