Job summary

Asb Enterprises in Nashik Phata Pune is urgently seeking a Pricing Executive for international freight forwarding. You will prepare RFQs and pricing proposals for Air and Ocean Freight, coordinating with lines, airlines, NVOCCs, and partners to obtain competitive rates.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in pricing or freight quotations, with strong negotiation, market analysis, and collaboration with Sales and Operations to deliver accurate quotations within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Required experience: 1–2 years in pricing or freight quotation roles.
• Experience with RFQs and pricing proposals for air/ocean freight.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage RFQs, spot quotations, and pricing proposals for Air Freight and Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL) shipments.
• Obtain competitive freight rates by coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, transporters, overseas agents, and other logistics partners.
• Analyze market trends, freight rates, carrier capacities, and routing options to provide commercially competitive quotations.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers and vendors while ensuring profitability and service quality.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, tariffs, and vendor quotations for quick turnaround.
• Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused pricing solutions.
• Ensure all customer quotations are submitted within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
• Identify cost-effective routing and logistics solutions based on customer requirements.
• Monitor quotation accuracy, resolve pricing discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company pricing guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and other logistics partners.
• Support tender submissions and large customer pricing requirements with detailed commercial analysis.
• Continuously monitor market developments and recommend pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness

Preferred candidate profile

• Primary Preference: Candidates currently working with a Freight Forwarding company in a Pricing, Commercial, Customer Service, or Operations role with exposure to freight quotations.
• Secondary Preference: Candidates from Shipping Lines with hands-on experience in container pricing, rate management, or commercial functions who are looking to transition into the freight forwarding industry.
