Hydro Pneumatic Engineers is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service forklifts and other material handling equipment at our Bengaluru facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel and electric units, inspect hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and ensure electrical integrity and battery readiness.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with forklift maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
Check and maintain engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, hydraulic oil, and gear oil levels.
Inspect battery voltage, electrolyte levels, terminals, connectors, cables, and battery connections.
Troubleshoot and repair diesel and electric forklifts, stackers, and other material handling equipment.
Inspect and maintain motors, starter motors, alternators, AC drive motors, and electrical wiring.
Check the braking system and carry out necessary repairs and adjustments.
Inspect hydraulic systems, lift cylinders, mast movement, bearings, and lubrication points.
Perform greasing and lubrication of all designated components.
Ensure all loose terminals, connectors, and electrical connections are tightened and functioning properly.
Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of equipment and the work area.
Attend breakdown calls and carry out corrective maintenance as required.
Record maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in maintenance logs.
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company maintenance standards.
