Job summary

DMart is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Equipment Maintenance and Facility Management activities at the Gujarat facility. The role involves planning preventive and predictive maintenance for MHE, conveyors, electrical systems, HVAC, and other utilities.

You will oversee vendor management, AMC contracts, safety audits, and documentation to ensure uptime and regulatory compliance. A Diploma in Electrical is compulsory and experience in maintenance leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates should hold a Diploma in Electrical (Compulsory).
• Experience in maintenance planning and team supervision is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safety norms and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with CMMS and MIS reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance

• Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of:
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) forklifts, stackers, hand pallets, etc.
• Conveyor belts, dock levelers, battery charging stations, etc.
• Maintain daily operation and health check records of all key machinery and assets.

Facility Management

• Ensure upkeep and maintenance of:
• Electrical systems (panels, wiring, UPS)
• HVAC systems, fire alarms, CCTV, lighting, and plumbing
• DG sets, air compressors, and other utility equipment

Vendor & AMC Management

• Coordinate with AMC service providers and local vendors for timely service and repairs.
• Track and maintain service logs, warranties, and contracts.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and electrical/mechanical regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections; rectify any deviations immediately.
• Support the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) team in implementing warehouse safety procedures.

Budget & Cost Control

• Monitor maintenance-related expenses and work within approved budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving through process improvement and efficient asset use.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and asset register.
• Prepare MIS reports and share periodic maintenance updates with senior management.

Team Management

• Supervise technicians, electricians, and housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular training for maintenance personnel on SOPs and safety.
