JobItUs in Bharuch district, India, is seeking a warehouse operator to perform daily inspections, loading/unloading, and material handling to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role includes equipment checks, safety reporting, 5S activities, training juniors, and contributing to Kaizen and continuous improvement.

Focused on uptime, stock levels of spare parts, and optimal utilization of forklifts and MHEs, the candidate will drive safety and productivity in a dynamic warehouse environment.

• Perform daily inspection, cleaning, and operational checks of forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Carry out loading and unloading of containers and vehicles as per loading instructions.
• Execute pick-and-put-away activities for finished goods, palletization, and dispatch operations.
• Handle movement, stacking, storage, and retrieval of materials within the warehouse.
• Shift empty pallets to designated packing and storage areas.
• Conduct Job Hazard (JH) assessments for MHEs and actively participate in 5S activities.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and report safety observations, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Participate in BBSI programs and contribute to creating a safe working environment.
• Maintain checklists, job sheets, and equipment-related records accurately in the system.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and monitor AMC compliance for warehouse equipment.
• Maintain minimum stock levels of critical spare parts for warehouse equipment.
• Ensure optimum utilization and availability of forklifts, reach trucks, and other MHEs.
• Provide on-the-job training to junior operators and contract workforce on equipment handling and safety practices.
• Participate in Kaizen, One-Point Lessons (OPL), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute suggestions to improve warehouse efficiency, quality, safety, and cost optimization.
