Job summary

DS Group is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and machinery at our facility in Uttar Pradesh.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, safety compliance, and timely response to breakdowns, with emphasis on documentation, drawings, and coordination with maintenance teams.

Candidates must follow PPE rules and lockout procedures and keep orderly work areas.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and technical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
• Handle electrical panels, switches, motors, pumps, control systems, and related equipment.
• Carry out routine inspection of electrical installations and equipment.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective electrical components, cables, switches, sockets, breakers, and other parts.
• Ensure all electrical work is carried out according to safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment issues.
• Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns and technical emergencies.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow proper safety procedures, including use of PPE and safe isolation/lockout procedures.
• Support other technical and maintenance activities as required
