Job summary

GIRI CONSULTANCY is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee daily movement of the company’s commercial vehicle fleet across locations. You will optimize routes, reduce fuel costs, and coordinate maintenance with the workshop team.

You will lead drivers and support staff, monitor costs, ensure compliance with permits and safety norms, and report performance to management. Collaborative, proactive, and ownership-driven candidates thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; additional certification in logistics or transport management is a plus
• 3 to 5 years of experience in fleet management, transport operations or logistics
• Strong understanding of route planning, fuel management and vehicle maintenance cycles
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of drivers and ground staff
• Good communication skills with a problem-solving and ownership-driven mindset
• Strong sense of ownership, integrity and accountability towards assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
