YourfriendlyHR in Bangalore is seeking a hands-on Fitness Center Manager to take complete operational, team, and commercial ownership of a high-energy gym space. You will thrive on floor leadership, build high-performing teams, and drive member retention and top-line performance.

This role requires 5–8+ years of experience with 2–3+ years running a customer-facing operation, rostering 8–20 staff, managing peak hours, and delivering data-driven performance insights to grow the community.

About The Role

Our client is a premier Bangalore-based movement and lifestyle brand blending climbing, fitness, events, and community. They are looking for a hands‑on Fitness Center Manager to take complete operational, team, and commercial ownership of their vibrant physical space. Key Responsibilities

• Centre Operations: Lead end‑to‑end daily operations, team scheduling, and facility readiness. Maintain strict SOPs, safety standards, cleanliness, and seamless peak‑hour workflows.
• Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of 8–20+ employees. Drive daily briefings, manage shift deployment, handle hiring/onboarding, and foster a strong culture of accountability.
• Customer Experience & Community: Own the end‑to‑end guest journey—from first‑time walk‑ins to long‑term membership retention. Resolve feedback in real‑time and actively support community events and programming.
• Commercial Performance: Track and drive location‑level revenue metrics (memberships, renewals, footfall conversion, and capacity utilization). Deliver operational performance reports and identify clear opportunities to boost customer lifetime value.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8+ years of professional experience, including 2–3+ years directly running a physical, customer‑facing operation.

Ideal Backgrounds

Experience in Premium/Boutique Fitness, Sports & Recreation, Hospitality, Premium Retail, Social Clubs, Coworking, or Experiential Lifestyle Centers. Kannada/local language proficiency is a plus.
