Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions is hiring for a premier client in Gurugram for an experienced professional to lead project execution and site management of finishing works across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and common areas. You will supervise contractors, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, monitor daily progress, and drive timely completion while mitigating delays.

A BE/BTech Civil or B.Arch with 15+ years of experience is required, with certifications in quality or

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional certifications in Quality Management or Project Management are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all architectural finishing and interior works across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and common areas.
• Supervise contractors to ensure execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure finishing activities are completed as per the project schedule.
• Identify execution challenges and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Oversee execution of finishes including plastering, painting, flooring, ceilings, joinery, doors, glazing, and landscape interfaces.
• Ensure all finishing works comply with material specs, mock-ups, and quality standards; review samples and conduct quality audits.
• Coordinate with Civil, MEP, Faade, Landscape, and Interior teams; attend meetings with consultants and client representatives.
• Review contractor work programs, monitor milestones, and assist in evaluating variation orders; support cost control via value engineering.
• Lead pre-handover inspections and ensure readiness for client handover; manage snag lists and handover records.

Job Description

Project Execution & Site Management

• Lead and monitor all architectural finishing and interior works across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and common areas.
• Supervise contractors to ensure execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure finishing activities are completed as per the project schedule.
• Identify execution challenges and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.

Finishing Works Management

Oversee execution of:

• Internal and external plastering
• Painting and decorative finishes
• Flooring (marble, granite, vitrified tiles, engineered stone, wooden flooring)
• False ceilings and gypsum partitions
• Joinery, carpentry, modular furniture, and millwork
• Doors, windows, ironmongery, and glazing
• Faade interface finishing works
• Waterproofing and sealants
• Toilets, lobbies, podiums, clubhouses, and common area finishes
• External hardscape and landscape interface works

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all finishing works comply with approved material specifications, mock-ups, and quality standards.
• Review and approve material samples, mock-ups, and workmanship before bulk execution.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits.
• Monitor snagging activities and ensure timely closure of punch points.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and client standards.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate closely with Civil, MEP, Faade, Landscape, and Interior teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Resolve site conflicts and interface issues affecting finishing works.

Planning & Commercial Support

• Review contractor work programs and monitor progress against milestones.
• Track procurement of long-lead finishing materials.
• Assist in evaluating variation orders and change requests related to finishing works.
• Support cost control through value engineering while maintaining quality.

Testing, Handover & Close-Out

• Lead pre-handover inspections and ensure readiness for client handover.
• Monitor completion of snag lists and defect rectification.
• Verify as-built documentation, warranties, operation manuals, and handover records.
• Support final completion and project close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional certifications in Quality Management or Project Management are an added advantage.

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in construction and architectural finishing works.
• Experience in high-rise mixed-use developments involving residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, or premium developments.
