Job summary

PeopleStrong is hiring a Manager – Finishing – Site in India to supervise interior and exterior finishing works across projects. You will ensure quality, alignment with drawings, and on-time completion of plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings and cladding.

You will coordinate with project teams, contractors, and procurement to secure materials, monitor progress, and enforce standards as per architectural plans and specs. Prior experience in finishing works is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in finishing works on site.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and translate them into finishing activities.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Manager – Finishing – Site is responsible for the supervision, execution, and quality assurance of all finishing works at the site including interior and exterior finishes such as plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceiling, and cladding. The role ensures that finishing activities are completed on time, within quality standards, and in accordance with approved architectural drawings and specifications. The incumbent supports project delivery through detailed planning, contractor coordination, and monitoring site progress for all finishing-related works.

• Execute and supervise day-to-day finishing work including tiling, plastering, painting, false ceiling, flooring, joinery, and façade finishes.
• Review and interpret architectural and finishing drawings; ensure execution aligns with specifications and design intent.
• Monitor contractor activities, track work progress, and ensure timely completion of finishing milestones as per project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of work and compliance with approved standards and mock‑ups.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, and resources at the site by coordinating with the procurement and stores teams.
