Responsibilities

• Ensure works align with approved drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve site issues.
• Prepare daily work plans and monitor progress to meet milestones.
• Inspect and close snag lists and punch points timely.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage; support billing.

Job Title: Finishing Engineer – Residential Projects

Job Purpose

• To supervise and execute all finishing works in residential buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely completion, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all finishing activities including plastering, flooring, tiling, marble/granite work, waterproofing, false ceiling, painting, doors, windows, joinery, and final fixtures.
• Ensure all finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues.
• Prepare daily work plans and monitor progress to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct inspections and ensure timely closure of snag lists and punch points.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company HSE policies.
• Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and quality checklists.
• Verify subcontractor measurements and support billing activities.
• Coordinate handover activities and ensure apartments are ready for possession.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Interior Design

5–10 years of experience in finishing works for residential high-rise or township projects.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of residential finishing materials and construction techniques.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
