Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Construction/Project Engineer for site execution in India. You will manage coordination with architects and consultants, monitor approvals, and ensure on-time completion with quality and safety compliance.

The role requires 3–8 years in construction, a BE/BTech or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical, and strong teamwork and communication skills to drive daily and weekly targets.

Qualifications

• Full Time Engineering Graduate or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in construction.
• Strong communication and team coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Well versed with project contract documents – Specs, Drawings, BOQ.
• Coordinate with Architects/Consultants for resolving document discrepancies.
• Follow up on approvals – men, material, method statements, mock-ups.
• Plan and execute activities per targets; detail days in planning.
• Identify resource needs and ensure timely availability.
• Prepare surfaces prior to activity start and ensure workmanship, quality, safety.
• Utilize assets efficiently and inspect work with client/consultant for approvals.
• Snag identification, rectification and handover to client; document checklists.

Job Description

• Well versed with project contract documents – Specs, Drawings, BOQ
• Coordination with Architects/Consultants for resolving document discrepancies
• Schedule of approvals follow up – Men, Material, Method statement, Mock Up
• As per assigned Monthly/Weekly targets, Detailing of days work – Planning & execution
• Putting up resource requirement & follow up
• Preparation of surface prior to activity commencement
• Execution of work ensuring workmanship, Quality, Safety, Timely completion
• Judicious utilization of company assets & resources
• Inspection with Client /Consultant for approvals of work done
• Protection of completed scope of works till handing over
• Snag identification, rectification & handing over to Client
• Documentation of Check lists, Material reconciliation, Productivity, Project Revisions
• Generation of reports on time on routine basis – Progress report, Material consumption, Vendor invoice certification.
