Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Civil Site Engineer with experience in power or petrochemical project sites to manage finishing works, formwork systems, and coordination with subcontractors. The role requires reading drawings, extracting BOQ, and preparing method statements.

You will oversee safety procedures, prepare progress reports, and ensure timely certifications for invoicing, working closely with multiple departments on site in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Requires diploma or higher in civil/structural engineering.
• Experience on power/petrochemical project sites preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and extract BOQ, prepare method statements.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and extract BOQ, prepare method statements.
• Coordinate formwork systems and finishing works (brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring).
• Supervise subcontractors, monitor productivity and progress, process subcontractor billing.
• Prepare joint protocols, client certifications, and timely quantity certifications for invoicing.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on site and execute as per FQAP and method statements.
• Prepare 3 months, monthly, weekly and daily progress reports and track progress.
• Coordinate with all departments for seamless project execution.

• 1. Should have worked at power/ petrochemical project site (minimum 3 Years)
• 2. Able to read, detail and extract BOQ from drawings, prepare method statements.
• 3. Aware of formwork systems being used in Construction Industry
• 4. Has handled finishing works - Brickwork, plastering, water proofing, D&W, flooring, false flooring , false ceiling, etc.
• 5. Handling subcontractor, monitoring productivity and progress, sub contractor billing.
• 6. Preparing joint protocols, inspection and certification from client and timely quantity certification for invoicing
• 7. Aware of safety procedures and implementing in project site.
• 8. Execution of works as per FQAP and method statements.
• 9. Preparing 3 months, monthly, weekly & daily progress report and ensuring progress as per the report.
• 10. Coordination with all other departments for seamless execution
