Job summary

PeopleStrong in India is hiring a Finishing Works Front Line Supervisor (FLS) to oversee day-to-day finishing activities on high-rise residential projects, with a primary focus on blockwork and plastering.

You will guide and monitor workmen and subcontractors, ensure drawings and specifications are followed, coordinate with civil, MEP and other finishing teams, maintain safety, quality and housekeeping on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day finishing activities for high-rise residential projects, focusing on blockwork and plastering.
• Guide and monitor workmen/subcontractors to ensure activities follow drawings, specifications and schedule.
• Ensure proper line, level, alignment, dimensions and workmanship for blockwork and plastering.
• Monitor manpower deployment, productivity and targets to achieve floor/tower progress.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, structural and other finishing teams to ensure proper sequencing and avoid clashes, delays and rework.
• Check material availability and ensure proper utilization of blocks, mortar, plaster materials and other consumables.
• Conduct routine quality checks and ensure timely rectification of observations and defects.
• Assist in daily planning, progress tracking, measurements, inspections and reporting of completed works.
• Identify site constraints and execution issues and coordinate with the concerned engineer for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to EHS requirements and safe working practices by all workmen under supervision.
• Support the team in achieving planned floor cycle, productivity and quality targets while minimizing material wastage and rework.
