Job summary

Vision India Services is seeking a qualified Finance Head to lead the hotel’s financial accounting, reporting, taxation, budgeting, and controls. The role requires 2–3 years post-qualification experience in hotel/hospitality finance and strong GST/TDS/Income Tax knowledge.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting, prepare statements, manage audits, and drive internal controls across departments to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• CA qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI.
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Prior experience in hotel/hospitality finance will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
• Good knowledge of hotel accounting processes and revenue controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the hotel.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, and cash flows.
• Review daily revenue reports from Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and other hotel departments.
• Ensure accurate accounting of occupancy revenue, F&B sales, discounts, complimentary services, and other income.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls.
• Conduct periodic reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, POS systems, and other operational accounts.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, HR, F&B, front office, and management teams on financial matters.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock controls, and food/beverage cost.
• Identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
