Job summary

Cloud9india Human Capital is seeking an experienced hotel finance professional to lead the finance and accounting operations for a Doon-region property. You will oversee daily accounting, budgeting, MIS reporting and financial controls to ensure profitability and statutory compliance.

The candidate should have 3–4 years in the hotel industry and an MBA in Finance or ICWA/CA, with a proven track record in cost control and cash flow management.

Qualifications

• MBA or professional accounting qualification (MBA Finance or CA/ICWA).
• Experience in hotel or hospitality finance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS and auditing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete finance and accounting operations of the hotel.
• Handle daily hotel accounting: revenue, expenses, receivables and payables.
• Prepare and monitor the annual hotel budget with management.
• Prepare regular hotel MIS reports on revenue, expenses, profitability and departmental performance.
• Conduct daily revenue audits for rooms, F&B, banquets and other revenue streams.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments and collections.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Manage TDS and TCS calculations, returns and reconciliations.
• Ensure statutory compliance and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures.
• Handle F&B costing, inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
• Conduct regular bank, ledger, revenue and financial reconciliations.
• Manage hotel cash flow and daily operations funding.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks and authorities.
• Ensure internal controls and accounting policies are implemented.
• Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions with departments.
• Supervise accounts team and ensure timely close of books.
