Job summary

O2 Spa in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting for hotel/resort operations with hands-on Tally or SAP experience. The role requires 10+ years in hotel/accounts, GST/TDS compliance, bank reconciliations, and MIS reporting, ensuring accurate postings and timely financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in hospitality finance, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Hotel/Resort Accounts.
• Hands-on knowledge of Tally and/or SAP.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Experience in Bank Reconciliations and MIS reporting.
• Hospitality industry experience is mandatory/strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for hotel/resort operations.
• Handle Tally/SAP postings and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Ensure GST, TDS and other statutory compliances are up to date.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivables, invoices, expenses and vendor payments.
• Prepare MIS reports, monthly statements and management reports.
• Monitor revenue and expenses for hospitality units; support month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments.
• Maintain books of accounts and supporting documentation; identify discrepancies and resolve them.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations for a reputed hospitality group. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in hotel/resort finance and accounting, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for hotel/resort operations.
• Handle Tally / SAP accounting and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Manage GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and review Bank Reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable, receivables, invoices, expenses and vendor payments.
• Prepare MIS reports, monthly statements and management reports.
• Monitor revenue, expenses and operational accounting for hospitality units.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, banks and internal departments.
• Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and supporting documentation.

• Assist the Finance Manager / Financial Controller with financial reporting and analysis.
