This is a senior leadership role that goes beyondaccounting — you will be a key business partner to the CEO, Board, and investors,shaping the financial future of one of India's fastest-growing health benefitsplatforms.
ekincare works with hundreds ofcorporate clients in simplifying their health benefits strategy andadministration, by integrating with thousands of healthcare service providersin the backend. As Finance Head, you will bring financial rigor, investor-gradethinking, and a product-centric approach to driving scale, profitability, andcapital efficiency.
- An average of 4K invoices generated monthly
- 1000+ corporate clients billing for sponsored &non-sponsored healthcare services

Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive the overall financial strategy alignedwith the company's growth and fundraising roadmap
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shapebusiness strategy through financial insights
- Control and evaluate the organization's fundraisingplans, capital structure, and runway management
- Analyze and present financial reports and forecasts tothe Board of Directors on a periodic basis
Investor Relations
- Own and manage investor relations — build trust throughproactive, transparent financial communication
- Lead preparation of investor decks, board packs, MISreports, and due diligence documentation
- Work closely with existing investors and lead financialpreparation for future fundraising rounds
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and financialinstitutions
- Coordinate with the FP&A team and data analysts todrive financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
- Track company performance against forecasts;collaborate with HODs to identify and overcome risks
- Lead budgeting, cash flow management, and financialrisk assessment
Controllership & Compliance
- Manage client billing — ensuring accurate and timelybilling with a focus on reducing corrections, credit notes, and customerqueries
- Manage the payables function — ensuring timely andaccurate payment of supplier invoices
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal auditscomply with financial regulations
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations
- Oversee the Legal, Secretarial, and Compliancefunctions of the organization
- Working knowledge of acquisitions and consolidation offinancials
- Build, lead, and mentor a world-class finance teamacross controllership, FP&A, taxation, legal, and compliance
- Foster a high-ownership, high-performance culturewithin the finance function
- Set KPIs for the team and drive accountability againstoutcomes
Requirements
Core Competencies, Knowledge,Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — must have clearedthe CA examination before 2021, with 17–19 years of total post-qualificationexperience
- Minimum 3–5 years in a Finance Head / CFO / VP Financerole with full ownership of the finance function
- Proven experience in a Series C funded startup orPre/Post-IPO company environment — mandatory
- Strong background in fast-growing startup environmentswith a demonstrated culture of high ownership and accountability
- Demonstrated experience in investor relations —managing existing investors and supporting new fundraising rounds
- Deep expertise in business finance — unit economics,SaaS/health-tech metrics, revenue modeling, and growth KPIs
- In-depth knowledge of finance controls, corporatefinance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices
- Proven team leadership skills — experience building andscaling finance teams of 5+ people
- Working knowledge of acquisitions, mergers, andconsolidation of financials
- Strong leadership acumen with a strategic mindset andboard-level communication skills
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability totranslate data into decisions
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
