Job summary

JCI Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain ELV and security systems including access control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS, ensuring high uptime and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in access control, FAS, CCTV, and BMS.
• Diploma or bachelor degree in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, CS or related field.
• Strong networking knowledge: IP addressing, switches, routers.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and maintain Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per service schedules.
• Configure servers, workstations, and system software.
• Monitor system performance and maximize uptime.

The candidate should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide timely support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in security and automation systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per service schedules.
• Configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and system software related to security platforms.
• Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime for client installations.
• Coordinate with customers to understand service requirements and provide timely resolutions.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Support system upgrades, expansions, and migration activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end users when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in:
