Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV and security systems including Access Control, FAS, CCTV, Servers, and BMS. You will provide technical support to clients and ensure uptime.

Candidates should have 4–5 years hands-on experience, strong networking knowledge, ability to read schematics, and a track record of customer-focused service. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ELV and security systems including Access Control, FAS, CCTV, and BMS.
• Strong networking knowledge and ability to read technical drawings/schematics.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills; travel to client sites required.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in security and automation systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per service schedules.
• Configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and system software related to security platforms.
• Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime for client installations.
• Coordinate with customers to understand service requirements and provide timely resolutions.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Support system upgrades, expansions, and migration activities.
• Ensure safety standards and company procedures; provide training to end users when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in:
  • Access Control Systems
  • Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
  • CCTV Surveillance Systems
  • Server Installation and Troubleshooting
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Good knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, switches, and routers.
• Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
