JCI in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, seeks a Service Engineer to install, commission, and service Building Management, Fire Alarm, CCTV, and ELV systems. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance on-site.

You will read schematics, coordinate with clients and teams, and provide training when needed. 2–6 years of relevant experience is preferred, with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Formación

• Knowledge of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems.

• Understanding of Control Systems, BMS, and PLC basics is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire & Security Systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in fire alarm, CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, and control systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per service schedules.
• Attend service calls and ensure timely closure of customer complaints.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams for project execution and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and integration activities.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers when required.
• Participate in on-call support and emergency breakdown response.

Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and other ELV/Security solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer interaction skills, and the ability to ensure system uptime and compliance with safety standards.

Experience

• 2 to 6 years of experience in installation, commissioning, or servicing of Fire, Security, ELV, or Building Automation Systems.
