Job summary

Luna Technologies Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Navi Mumbai, leads India in in-house robot design, manufacture and assembly. The role involves installing, commissioning and troubleshooting robots at customer sites across industrial robots, cobots, AMRs and AGVs.

You will work with sales, design and project teams to turn applications into live automation, with travel to customer sites and on-site training. Immediate joiners with 1–4 years' robotics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Robotics or Automation.
• 1–4 years in robotics, automation or field application engineering.
• Basic industrial robot programming knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, program and troubleshoot robotic systems at customer sites (industrial robots, cobots, AMRs, AGVs, humanoids).
• Interact with customers and internal teams to translate applications into running automation.
• Run on-site demos, trials and customer trainings; provide service and support to keep operations running.
• Prepare commissioning reports and document technical activities; share field feedback with design teams.

Location: Openings at Mumbai Factory, Pune Factory and Delhi region (HQ: Navi Mumbai, Koparkhairane), with customer-site travel

The Role

You will install, commission, program and troubleshoot robotic systems at customer sites, across industrial robots, cobots, AMRs, AGVs, humanoids and robot dogs. You will work with customers and our sales, design and project teams to turn applications into running automation.

What You Will Do

• Install, commission, program and troubleshoot robots, cobots and mobile robots at customer sites, including AMR/AGV mapping and navigation.
• Deliver pick-and-place, material handling, palletizing, welding and machine tending applications.
• Integrate robots with PLC, HMI, servo, vision and other automation systems, and optimize cycle times.
• Run demos, application trials and customer training.
• Provide on-site service and support to keep customer operations running.
• Prepare service and commissioning reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with sales, design and project teams, and share field feedback with our in-house robot design team.

Must Have

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Robotics or Automation.
• 1–4 years in robotics, automation or field application engineering.
• Basic industrial robot programming knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, servo, sensors and industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profinet or EtherNet/IP.
• Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots or similar robots is a plus.
• AMR/AGV fleet setup, mapping and navigation; ROS experience is a plus.
• Machine vision, Python scripting or offline robot programming.
