Job summary

Bizdeed Hr Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer for Power systems in India. Based in Bangalore, you will support pre-sales activities for DC/DC, AC/DC converters, UPS, and PDU solutions, acting as a technical advisor to defence customers.

The role emphasizes architecture guidance, customer consultations, and collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to drive opportunities and deliver robust power architectures.

Qualifications

• Technical undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or Computer Engineering.
• Expert knowledge in AC/DC, DC/DC converters, EMI filters, UPS, PDU, power system architectures.
• Strong understanding of circuit analysis and system-level design.
• Experience with MATLAB, SPICE, and Visio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales engagements including architecture guidance and demos.
• Consult with customers on platform-level power challenges and identify optimized solutions.
• Support RFP/RFQ responses with technical documentation.
• Translate customer requirements into design parameters for R&D teams.
• Drive opportunities through the sales pipeline to closure with CRM accuracy.
• Represent the organization at defence conferences and events.
• Author white papers and technical marketing content.
• Maintain awareness of competing technologies and market positioning.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a technically strong and customer-oriented Field Applications Engineer Power to support the growth of our advanced power solutions portfolio across India & APAC.

This role focuses on DC/DC converters, AC/DC inverters, solid-state power distribution devices, generator controllers, VPX form factor solutions, and UPS systems. Based in India, this position plays a critical role within the Sales organization by acting as a trusted technical advisor to strategic and enterprise defence customers. The ideal candidate combines deep power systems expertise with pre-sales experience and a strong understanding of military and defence market requirements. This is a high-impact role requiring technical credibility, commercial awareness, and close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams.

What Youll Need

1. Strong Technical Power Systems Expertise

• Technical undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (required).
• Expert knowledge in: o AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters o EMI filters o Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) o Power Distribution Units (PDU) o Power system architectures
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit analysis, block diagrams, and system-level design.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, SPICE, and Microsoft Visio is a plus.
• Hardware interfacing experience (sensors, actuators, I2C, SPI communication protocols).
