Responsibilities

• End-to-end design and development of power electronics systems, including AC-DC & DC-DC power supplies and magnetics design.
• System architecture & schematic capture.
• BOM creation & optimization.
• PCB layout review & Gerber release.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and MIL standards (preferable).
• Perform Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and thermal analysis during design stages.
• Design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for testability (DFT) reviews.
• Prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting of power electronics hardware.
• Work on technical documentation, including design history, test reports, and validation records.
• Collaborate with vendors for component selection, sourcing, and technical clarifications.
• Participate in client interactions, including requirement gathering, technical discussions, and project reviews.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in power electronics design and development, preferably for defense/MIL-STD applications. This role involves
working closely with clients, understanding requirements, designing power systems (AC-DC, DC-DC), and driving projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end design and development of power electronics systems, including:
• AC-DC & DC-DC power supplies ,Transformer and magnetics design
• System architecture & schematic capture
• BOM creation & optimization
• PCB layout review & Gerber release
• Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance and relevant MIL standards (preferable).
• Perform Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and thermal analysis during design stages.
• Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for testability (DFT) reviews.
• Execute prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting of power electronics hardware.
• Work on technical documentation, including design history, test reports, and validation records.
• Collaborate with vendors for component selection, sourcing, and technical clarifications.

• Strong knowledge of Power Electronics (AC-DC, DC-DC, Magnetics, Power Converters).
• Hands-on experience in schematic and PCB design using OrCAD / Altium Designer (preferable).
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of thermal management, SI/PI principles, and reliability considerations.
• Familiarity with transformer/magnetics design and optimization.

Basic Qualifications
