Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a senior BI/Analytics professional in Hyderabad, India to drive the design and implementation of business applications, aligning IT solutions with business objectives. The role emphasizes end-to-end impact analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.

Experience required includes 5+ years in BI design across PowerBI, DAX, SQL Server, and SAP data platforms. Flexible work arrangements are available, with a mix of remote and office-based work.

Qualifications

• PowerBI Desktop/Service, Power Query advanced (7+ years).
• DAX and SQL Server advanced (7+ years).
• SAP Data Sphere or S/4 HANA intermediate (4-6 years).

Responsibilities

• Owns the conceptual design and end-to-end impact analysis of business applications.
• Mentors junior team members and provides technical guidance.
• Defines integration/parallel testing criteria and validates technical designs and supplier estimates.
• Understands business processes and customer needs, ensuring IT solutions align with business objectives.
• Supports business cases, cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and ROM estimates.
• Acts as a Business–IT liaison and supports implementation, troubleshooting, quality reviews, and user training.

Job description

Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications; Understands the business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT; Responsible for the conceptual design of business applications; Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier; Performs quality review checks on project deliverables; Validates suppliers estimates; Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components; Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude to implement new application functionality; Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria; Supports the implementation activities, as required; Mentors lower level colleagues.
