Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a senior BI/IT design professional in Pune to lead high-level design, validate technical designs, mentor junior staff, and align IT solutions with business objectives. The role involves integration/testing criteria and supporting business cases, ROM estimates, and risk assessment.

Job description

Experience- 5 years Plus

Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications; Understands the business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT; Responsible for the conceptual design of business applications; Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier; Performs quality review checks on project deliverables; Validates suppliers estimates; Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components; Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude to implement new application functionality; Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria; Supports the implementation activities, as required; Mentors lower level colleagues.

• Owns the conceptual design and end-to-end impact analysis of business applications.
• Mentors junior team members and provides technical guidance.
• Defines integration/parallel testing criteria and validates technical designs and supplier estimates.
• Understands business processes and customer needs, ensuring IT solutions align with business objectives.
• Supports business cases, cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and ROM estimates.
• Acts as a Business–IT liaison and supports implementation, troubleshooting, quality reviews, and user training.

PowerBI Desktop/Service, Power Query - Advanced (7+ Years)

SAP Data Sphere or S/4 HANA - Intermediate (4-6 Years)
