Job summary

Capgemini in India (Maharashtra) seeks an experienced BI/Business Applications Architect to drive conceptual design and end-to-end impact analysis for enterprise applications. You will guide technical designs, validate supplier estimates, and mentor junior teammates while ensuring IT solutions align with business goals.

The role combines business insight with advanced BI skills (Power BI, DAX, SQL Server) and SAP/S4HANA exposure in a flexible, hybrid work setup.

• Provides high level of expertise in the design and functionality of business applications.
• Understands the business objectives and how IT supports them.
• Reviews and validates the technical design for business applications provided by the supplier.
• Mentors lower level colleagues.
• Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude to implement new application functionality.
• Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria.
• Supports the implementation activities, as required.
• Acts as a Business-IT liaison and supports implementation, troubleshooting, quality reviews, and user training.

Validates suppliers estimates;

Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components;

Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude to implement new application functionality;

Specifies / recommends integration and parallel testing criteria;

Supports the implementation activities, as required;

Mentors lower level colleagues.

Requirements

Experience- 5 years Plus

• Owns the conceptual design and end-to-end impact analysis of business applications.
• Mentors junior team members and provides technical guidance.
• Defines integration/parallel testing criteria and validates technical designs and supplier estimates.
• Understands business processes and customer needs, ensuring IT solutions align with business objectives.
• Supports business cases, cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and ROM estimates.
• Acts as a Business-IT liaison and supports implementation, troubleshooting, quality reviews, and user training

Required Skills

• PowerBI Desktop/Service, Power Query - Advanced (7+ Years)
• DAX and SQL Server - Advanced (7+ Years)
• SAP Data Sphere or S/4 HANA - Intermediate (4-6 Years)
