Job summary

Mirance Hr Solutions is seeking a seasoned Façade Design and Engineering Lead for high-rise, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects in Mumbai. You will guide from concept to completion, review curtain wall, ACP cladding, glazing systems, and coordinate with architects and MEP teams to ensure constructability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead faade design and engineering for high-rise and mixed-use projects from concept to completion.
• Review and approve faade system designs: curtain wall (unitized/stick-built), ACP cladding, structural glazing, spider glazing, ventilated stone/HPL cladding, louvers, skylights.
• Conduct structural calculations for wind load, dead load, seismic performance, and deflection per IS/ASTM/EN codes.
• Evaluate faade systems for thermal performance, waterproofing, acoustics, fire safety, aesthetic requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors during design and construction stages.
• Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and testing reports from faade contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits during installation to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Lead technical due diligence, tendering, and vendor/contractor evaluation for faade packages.
• Troubleshoot faade-related site issues and defects, providing remedial design solutions.
• Mentor and manage a team of faade engineers and junior consultants.
• Liaise with clients on technical presentations, value engineering, and project reviews and peer reviews.
• Stay updated on emerging faade technologies and sustainability standards (LEED/GRIHA/IGBC)
