Job summary

Ahluwalia Contracts is seeking a Façade Design & Engineering professional to coordinate drawings, consultants, and PMC teams for complex projects. You will manage mock-ups, testing, and ensure alignment with the baseline schedule on-site.

The role requires a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma with strong façade experience, and hands-on BIM and AutoCAD/Revit proficiency for integrated project delivery.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma with faade experience as listed.
• Strong knowledge of BIM and faade software tools.
• Experience with high rise or landmark projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review faade drawings (shop, GA, fabrication) and ensure alignment.
• Coordinate with faade consultants, architects, structural and PMC teams.
• Plan and supervise faade installation activities and testing.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedule and ensure quality.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering Coordination

• Review faade drawings (shop drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings).
• Coordinate with faade consultants, architects, structural consultants, and PMC..
• Manage mock-ups and performance testing (wind load, water tightness, air infiltration).

2. Execution & Site Management

• Plan and execute faade installation activities (unitized / semi-unitized / stick system).
• Monitor progress against baseline schedule.
• Ensure proper installation of curtain wall, ACP cladding, glazing, louvers, skylights, etc.

3. Quality Control & Testing

• Conduct inspections for alignment, leveling, sealing, and waterproofing.
• Oversee third-party testing and laboratory testing of materials.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical
• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical (with strong faade experience)

Preferred Profile

• Experience in Govt / High Rise Building / Landmark projects.
• Exposure to international faade systems.
• Strong coordination skills between Civil & MEP interfaces.
• Knowledge of BIM and faade software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
