Job summary

Lodha in Alibag, Maharashtra, is seeking a Facade Design Manager to oversee the complete facade design and installation processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience in high-rise fully glazed projects, a Bachelor's degree or a Diploma with 10 years experience. Job description

Role Objective: Manage the complete Facade design and installation process and ensure that the work is completed within the guidelines of acceptable quality, approved time frame and within the budget and in compliance with contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure facade drawings are submitted in compliance with architects intent and ease of constructability.
• Establish standard submission methods of all drawings/ calculations/ samples.
• Review and approve the QA and HSE plans, ITPs, work procedures submitted by vendor and ensure its implementation at site.
• Ensure that the vendor is sourcing the approved materials including fabrication & installation as per approved shop drawings, VMU, PMU, specifications and contract documents.
• Coordinate priority areas for installation at site with architect/ strategy/ sales team.
• Visit vendor and his suppliers factory to check for material status and quality check.
• Manage the entire facade design process with vendor in compliance with architects intent, constructability etc.
• Manage the entire Facade installation process in line with approved shop drawings.
• Ensure good quality facade is delivered and installed at site.
• Implementation of HSE procedures at work.

Qualification, Practice and Other Requirements:

• Experienced in executing high rise fully glazed projects of minimum 30,000 sqm within the approved time and cost and have min 7 yrs experience (for BE) and min 10 yrs (for Diploma).
• Sound knowledge of basic facade engineering principles, fabrication and installation methods, maintenance methods.
