Spot In Job Consultancy in India seeks a Store Manager for a reputed manufacturing company. You will oversee day-to-day store operations, ensure smooth material flow, and manage inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in store management, strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP), and proficiency in MS Excel. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Store Management, Inventory Control, or Warehouse Operations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of FIFO, LIFO, and inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth material flow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials to prevent damage.
  • Issue materials to production or departments as per authorized requests.
  • Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
  • Maintain all store-related documentation, including GRNs, issue slips, and stock registers.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Dispatch teams for material planning.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and 5S practices in the store.
  • Identify and report slow-moving, non-moving, or damaged inventory.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
  • Ensure ERP/Tally inventory transactions are updated accurately and on time.
