Infosys in Mysuru, Karnataka invites an experienced mechanical design engineer to design and develop plastics trims for global passenger cars. You will work on bumpers, tailgates, lighting, body claddings, interior trims, IP and floor consoles. You will collaborate with client engineers and cross‑functional teams, lead a small team of 2–3 members, drive design reviews, and ensure manufacturability and program milestones.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 3–9 years in plastics product design for automotive cars.
Experience collaborating with client engineers and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of plastics materials, design guidelines, and tooling fundamentals.
Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ECE & FMVSS) desirable.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide a small team.

Skills on assembly management and OEM drawing creation will be added advantage
