Roots Recruitment in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned professional to manage Commercial and Banking Transactions, Government Relations, Logistics Handling, Customs Clearance, Payments and MIS Reporting. The role demands strong knowledge of LC/D/P, DGFT, Central Excise, DGFT quotas, freight negotiations, and FOREX management.

• Manage LC, D/P, advanced payment, bank transactions
• Handle TUFS subsidy claims, LC, and insurance matters.
• Manage Central Excise, DGFT (DEPB, EPCG, FMS, TED claims), and Service Tax tasks and coordinate with councils (e.g., S.R.T.E.P.C, TEXPOCIL) and DGFT for quotas and notifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and clearing agents.
• Negotiate shipping and freight rates.
• Ensure compliance with Customs laws and regulations.
• Develop strategies for Customs documentation, valuation, and duty savings.
• Monitor customs duties, taxes, and clearance processes.
• Maintain import documents and liaise with clearing agents and banks.
• Manage international payments and FOREX transactions.
• Prepare and submit MIS reports

Role & responsibilities

1. Commercial and Banking Transactions

• Manage LC, D/P, advanced payment, bank transactions
