Job summary

MASTER MIND CONSULTANCY is seeking an Expert Technologist - Modelling in Patalganga, India. The role focuses on developing system-level thermal models and CFD simulations for cooling architectures and energy systems, guiding design decisions and prioritizing research.

You will lead 1D/3D CFD studies, optimize thermal management for batteries and electronics, mentor engineers, and translate results into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Automotive/Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Strong CFD modelling experience with STAR-CCM+.
• Thermal management, fluid mechanics and multiphase flow simulations.
• Knowledge of 1D/3D CFD, HVAC, battery cooling and electronics thermal management.
• Hands-on with Siemens NX, AMESim (preferred) and other simulation tools.
• Basic Linux scripting and experience in HPC environments.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement system-level thermal models and simulations for fluid and thermal management systems.
  
• Perform 1D and 3D CFD simulations to evaluate cooling architectures and optimize system performance.
  
• Design and optimize thermal management solutions for batteries, electric motors, power electronics, and HVAC systems.
  
• Use simulation insights to support engineering decisions, product development, and research prioritization.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and R&D teams on modelling and simulation projects.
  
• Develop modelling methodologies, tools, and best practices to improve simulation efficiency and accuracy.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentor team members on modelling techniques and simulation approaches.
  
• Translate complex simulation results into clear engineering recommendations for stakeholders.
  
• Support innovation by evaluating emerging technologies in CFD, thermal management, and electrification.

Requisites

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Strong expertise in CFD modelling using STAR-CCM+.
  
• Experience in thermal management, fluid mechanics, and multiphase flow simulations.
  
• Knowledge of 1D/3D CFD, HVAC systems, battery cooling, and electronics thermal management.
  
• Hands-on experience with Siemens NX, AMESim (preferred), and other simulation tools.
  
• Basic knowledge of Linux scripting and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
