Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced Simulation Engineer with a minimum of 1-2 years of expertise in CFD. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of thermal management concepts, CHT, electronics cooling simulations, heat transfer and fluid dynamics, and possess excellent problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality simulations for various projects. Function as a solution specialist in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics using simulation tools such as ANSYS FLUENT, Icepak, AEDT, FloEFD.

Qualifications

• Mandatory skillset/experience/knowledge: Knowledge of Thermal management/CHT/Electronics Cooling – mandatory
• Strong fundamentals in CFD, Heat transfer, Therma management, CHT, Electronics Cooling with Ansys Icepak, AEDT, FloEFD - Preferred
• Thermal Engineering (Preferred) (or) Mechanical with strong knowledge on Thermal Engineering Concepts
• Work collaboratively with customers to ensure their successful execution of project activities.
• This role covers concept development, optimization, validation, and documentation of thermal systems for a variety of industries. Deep knowledge of thermal management principles and electronics cooling is mandatory.
• 1-2 Years of relevant experience o Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Thermal/Mechanical Engineer having internship or project experience in electronics cooling simulation topics.
• Candidates having experience with ANSYS Icepak/AEDT/FloEFD are preferred.
• Sound background in Thermal engineering concepts, Computational Fluid Dynamics [CFD].
• Engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
• Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills.
• Recent graduates (fresher/0-2 experience profiles) and no knowledge of Icepak/FloEFD are also fine if candidates are extremely sound and sharp technically.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thermal simulations and analyses using Ansys Icepak, AEDT, FloEFD, and similar CAE/CFD software for electronics and CHT applications
• Develop, optimize, and validate designs for cooling solutions including heat sinks, fans, PCBs, enclosures, and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with hardware/mechanical/electrical teams to integrate thermal requirements into system designs.
• Set up and manage thermal and conjugate heat transfer models: geometry preparation, mesh generation, boundary condition specification, and solution strategy.
• Interpret simulation outputs (temperature distribution, airflow, pressure, thermal gradients) and derive actionable insights for design improvements.
• Model Multiphysics environments: coupled fluid flow and heat transfer, transient and steady state scenarios, component interactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues relating to overheating, hotspots, and suboptimal cooling performance.
• Document thermal analyses, simulation methodology, and results in professional engineering reports and presentations.
• Support testing team when needed, correlate simulation predictions with actual measurements or lab tests.
• Interface with customers and project teams to understand requirements, communicate progress, and propose design modifications.
• Stay abreast of advancements in simulation methodologies, electronics cooling, and thermal management technologies.
