Job summary

HCLTech in Pune, India seeks a skilled ANSYS simulation engineer to perform advanced simulations across electromagnetic, fluid and thermal domains and to develop high fidelity 3D models and boundary conditions.

You will interpret results, validate outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations to the design team, leveraging solid heat transfer and fluid dynamics fundamentals and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Perform advanced simulations using ANSYS tools (Electromagnetic, fluid and thermal).
• Develop high fidelity 3D models, material definitions and boundary conditions for accurate simulation results
• Conduct root cause analysis for failures and replicate the same in simulations, and find solutions for the failures
• Interpret, validate and document the simulation outcomes, and provide a clear actionable recommendation to the design team
• Strong understanding of Basic Heat Transfer concepts and Fluid Dynamics.
• Proficient in ANSYS tools including ANSYS AEDT/Icepak/Fluent, Maxwell, and SpaceClaim
• Strong analytical and system-level problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles and applications
