Job summary

Integrated Simulation Technologies in Pune district, Maharashtra, India, seeks an experienced engineer for 1D simulation in EVs and automotive domains. You will model, calibrate, simulate and post‑process using GT-SUITE, GT‑POWER, MATLAB/SIMULINK; optimize engine air handling, cooling and powertrain components to meet performance, fuel economy and emission targets.

The role requires 3–6 years of hands‑on experience and strong fundamentals in IC engines, thermal engineering and emissions

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in 1D Simulation in Electric vehicle, HEV, Engine, Automotive domains.
• We have requirements in Engine performance, Vehicle thermal management, HVAC & Vehicle powertrain for diesel, gasoline engine and E-Mobility development.
• Excellent modeling, calibration, simulation and post processing skills using GT-SUITE, GT-POWER, MATLAB, SIMULINK, AVL.
• Hands on experience in optimization and selection of Engine air handling system including Turbocharger matching, EGR, valve optimization to meet target performance and emissions.
• Hands on experience in optimization and selection of Cooling system components and Powertrain system components to meet vehicle performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize 1D simulation models for engines, EVs and powertrains.
• Calibrate models against test data and validate predictions for emissions and fuel economy.
• Support design decisions for air handling, cooling and exhaust aftertreatment systems.

Job description

• 3 to 6 years of experience in 1D Simulation in Electric vehicle, HEV, Engine, Automotive domains
• We have requiremements in multiple domains - Engine performance, Vehicle thermal management, HVAC & Vehicle powertrain for diesel, gasoline engine and E-Mobility development
• Excellent skill in modeling, calibration, simulation and post processing using GT-SUITE, GT-POWER, MATLAB, SIMULINK, AVL 1D simulation software
• Hands on experience in optimization and Selection of Engine air handling system - Turbocharger matching, EGR system selection, valve profile optimization to meet target engine performance parameters, fuel economy and NOx emissions
• Hands on experience in optimization & selection of Cooling system components - fan, pump, radiator, valves, condenser, evaporator, architecture, blower to meet target temperature of engine, motor, dc-dc, inverter, mcu, cabin
• Hands on experience in optimization & selection of Powertrain system components - battery, motor, transmission, controls to meet vehicle performance such as range, max vehicle speed, acceleration time, gradeability
• Excellent Fundamental knowledge in IC Engine, Thermal Engineering and Heat Transfer, E-Moobility
• Deep technical knowledge of automotive Emissions and Regulatory compliance requirements
• Development of methodologies for engine out emission prediction
• Develop models for Exhaust aftertreatmen system to capture altitude and off ambient conditions impact on tail pipe emissions
