Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase requests from store teams and coordinate procurement of consumables and materials.
• Get quotes from vendors, compare prices and delivery terms, and negotiate favorable deals.
• Place and track purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and update ERP records.
• Inspect received goods for quality and quantity, allocate materials to production, and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with maintenance and electrical teams for crane and machine upkeep.
• Generate goods received notes and delivery challans, ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain orderly storage, labeling, and ERP inward/outward records.

• JOB PURPOSE:
• Manage Store procurement, negotiate with vendors, place orders, track deliveries, maintain ERP records, ensure quality compliance, allocate materials to production, oversee storage processes, and coordinate maintenance and quality checks.
• ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Received the purchase request from the different team of store consumables such as gases, Welding & Grinding consumable, Electrical & crane materials etc.
• Generate a comparison sheet listing quotations from different vendors, including prices, delivery times, and terms.
• Negotiate terms and prices with vendors to secure favorable procurement agreements.
• Place purchase orders with selected vendors, detailing quantities, and specifications.
• Follow up with vendors to track the dispatch and delivery of ordered materials.
• Maintain and update the ERP system to ensure accurate recording and tracking of procurement activities.
• Receive raw materials from suppliers, inspecting for quality and quantity compliance.
• Allocate raw materials to production teams based on production schedules and resource requirements.
• Address machine, crane and electrical-related issues promptly by coordinating with electricians or relevant maintenance personnel
• Regularly inspect cranes for signs of wear and damage, identifying maintenance needs.
• Generate the Goods received note.
• Generate Delivery Challan
• Oversee the receipt of materials, ensuring accurate documentation and verification against purchase orders.
• Manage the inward and outward process of materials in store, and ensure proper labeling and storage and also maintain the ERP software for inward and outward.
• Coordinate with the quality department to ensure all received materials meet the required standards before storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring materials are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Stock Maintain in store for regular consumable items.
