Job summary

Kunstocom (india) Limited in Uttar Pradesh seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage plastics polymers, raw materials, master batches, additives, packaging and engineering items to support production.

You will handle RFQs, quotations, POs, supplier development, price negotiations, and ensure on-time material availability while coordinating with production, quality, stores, maintenance and finance.

Qualifications

• Procurement of polymers, raw materials, master batches, additives, packaging and engineering items as per plant needs.
• Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate price and terms.
• Process Purchase Orders and ensure procurement aligns with specifications, budgets and procedures.
• Ensure timely material availability to prevent stock-outs and production interruptions.
• Develop and manage suppliers/vendors, including evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate price revisions, annual rate contracts and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Maintenance and Finance for material requirements and issues.
• Follow up on open POs and supplier deliveries to ensure timely material delivery.
• Handle material quality issues, rejections, replacements and supplier reconciliations with relevant departments.
• Prepare and maintain Purchase MIS, procurement records and reports.

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage procurement of plastic polymers/raw materials, master batches, additives, consumables, packaging and engineering items as per plant requirements.
2. Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules.
3. Process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure procurement is completed as per approved specifications, budgets and company procedures.
4. Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and avoid stock-outs or production interruptions.
5. Develop and manage suppliers/vendors, including new vendor identification, evaluation and supplier performance monitoring.
6. Negotiate price revisions, annual rate contracts and cost-saving opportunities to achieve optimum purchase cost.
7. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Maintenance and Finance for material requirements, quality issues, GRN and invoice-related matters.
8. Follow up on open POs and supplier deliveries and ensure timely delivery of materials as committed.
9. Handle material quality issues, rejections, replacements, debit/credit notes and supplier account reconciliation in coordination with concerned departments.
