Job summary

Uptech Precision pvt ltd in India is seeking a diligent Procurement professional responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, and services. You will evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate favorable terms while issuing POs and tracking deliveries.

The role requires ERP-enabled procurement experience and collaboration with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality to maintain uninterrupted material flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in procuring raw materials and mechanical components.
• Familiar with supplier evaluation and onboarding processes.
• Strong negotiation and cost-reduction skills.
• Ability to raise POs, track orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Experience with ERP-based procurement workflows and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, mechanical components, consumables, and production items.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor supplier deliveries.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality on material requirements.
• Monitor inventory and ensure material availability.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
• Resolve delays, quality issues, and supplier performance.
• Analyze market trends for cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and ISO/quality systems.
• Prepare monthly purchase and supplier performance reports.
