Job summary

Global Green Company Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day assistance to plant users and departments, install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and networks. You will manage LAN/WAN, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, support ERP/MIS applications, CCTV and access-control systems, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

The role requires good communication, the ability to work independently, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office, able to troubleshoot common issues.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi networks.
• Experience with Active Directory and MS 365/Exchange, antivirus solutions.
• ERP/MIS systems exposure is an advantage.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to all plant users and departments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain plant LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, email IDs, access permissions, and password-related requests.
• Provide support for ERP, production, attendance, and other plant applications.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV, biometric attendance, access-control, and related systems.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, AMC records, and IT documentation.
• Ensure regular data backup and support cybersecurity and antivirus activities.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and external vendors for hardware, software, network, and service-related issues.
• Monitor system and network performance and elevate critical issues when required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment.
• Support IT requirements during audits, new projects, system installations, and plant expansions.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, information-security standards, and data-protection procedures.
• Maintain records of IT incidents, service requests, maintenance activities, and asset movements.
• Support business continuity by ensuring minimum downtime of critical IT systems.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, hardware, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Exchange, and antivirus solutions.
• Experience with ERP/MIS systems will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV, biometric, access-control, and backup systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with plant users and external vendors.
• Willingness to support plant operations during emergencies or extended hours when required.
