Job summary

Manipal Hospitals in Siliguri, West Bengal invites an IT Administrator to manage hospital IT infrastructure, computers, servers, networks, Wi‑Fi and printers, ensuring smooth clinical operations. You will provide technical support to doctors and nurses, maintain HIS/HMS software, manage user access and security, backups, and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime across the hospital's IT estate.

This role also emphasizes IT compliance, audits, documentation, and ready emergency IT support

Responsibilities

• Manage hospital IT infrastructure, computers, servers, networks, Wi-Fi, and printers.
• Provide technical support to doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HIS/HMS and other hospital software.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions.
• Ensure data security, antivirus protection, backups, and recovery.
• Support CCTV, biometric, access control, IP phones, and other IT systems.
• Maintain IT assets, software licenses, AMC, and warranty records.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
• Monitor system performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain IT documentation, logs, and reports.
• Support IT audits, compliance, and hospital accreditation requirements.
• Provide emergency IT support for critical hospital systems.
