Job description

The IT Head will be responsible for leading hospital IT operations, infrastructure management, software systems, network security, digital workflow support, and technology planning. This requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, vendor management skills, and understanding of healthcare IT systems. The candidate will ensure reliable hospital software, data security, IT uptime, hardware support, and technology-driven operational efficiency across all departments.

• Lead hospital IT operations including hardware, software, network, server, and application support.
• Ensure smooth functioning of hospital management software, computers, printers, scanners, and digital systems.
• Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and cybersecurity controls.
• Monitor system uptime, data backup, antivirus updates, user access, and IT security compliance.
• Coordinate with software vendors for hospital system issues, upgrades, implementation, and support.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email access, passwords, and department-wise IT requirements.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, AMC records, software licenses, service logs, and support documentation.
• Plan technology upgrades, hardware procurement, system improvements, and digital workflow enhancements.
• Supervise IT support staff and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Support CCTV, biometric, access control, communication systems, and digital infrastructure.
• Train users on hospital software, data entry discipline, cybersecurity awareness, and IT best practices.
• Ensure confidentiality, availability, and integrity of hospital digital data and patient information.
• Prepare IT reports, downtime summaries, issue trackers, and infrastructure performance updates.
