The Assistant Manager – IT will be responsible for managing and supporting the hospital’s IT systems, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and healthcare applications such as Hospital Information Systems (HIS). The involves ensuring data security, system uptime, user support, and smooth integration of digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and patient care services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, desktops, and peripherals across hospital locations.
• Ensure smooth functioning of Hospital Information System (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other healthcare applications.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and proactively resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to hospital staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, AMC, and support services.
• Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery planning as per organizational policies.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
• Support integration of medical equipment with IT systems for seamless data flow and reporting.
• Maintain IT documentation including system configurations, network diagrams, and user manuals.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and upgrades of software and hardware systems.
